Climate change

This week I thought it would be interesting to touch on one of the more visible effects of climate change. Right now the Great Barrier Reef is under tremendous stress due to rising ocean temperatures, caused in part by global warming. Here is a link to an article that provides information on the situation and shows what the bleaching process looks like. 

I would also recommend saving this website for your own use. It's the National Public Radio website in the United States, and it produces an enormous amount of very interesting content. There are lots of interesting 3-4 minute audio podcasts that would be enjoyable ways to practice listening to English.
